Help Build a Place Where Food, Faith, and Freedom Grow

🌱 Support the “Finish the Farm Fund” and help us open Epworth Farm LA by November 24, 2025.  Together, we can transform this sacred ground into a place where faith, food, and freedom grow.

“We’ve come this far — now help us cross the finish line.”

Imagine a place in Los Angeles where faith, food, and justice grow side by side.

Epworth Farm LA is more than soil and seeds—it’s a sanctuary where families, youth, and neighbors can reconnect with the land, learn to grow food, and heal together.

We’re so close to completing the build-out! Your support will help install irrigation, finish raised beds, and create gathering spaces that will nourish both body and spirit.

🌾 Every gift moves us closer to opening day. Join us in planting hope and harvest for the community.

ABOUT

Epworth Farm is a 9,500 square foot property located in South LA and operated by Saint Mark United Methodist Church. Epworth Farm’s mission is to increase the awareness and involvement in urban agriculture, promoting a culture of food sovereignty that will mitigate the burden of food insecurity in Black and Brown neighborhoods; to decrease the incidence of diet related diseases in the South Los Angeles by increasing the consumption of fruits in vegetables in participant households; and to foster connections and relationships within the local food system.  Epworth Farm will build a functional farm with a farmstand that will operate twice per month, curate and implement educational workshops in gardening, health, and wellness for community members, and offer field trips and volunteer opportunities for community schools, organizations, and surrounding neighbors.  We also hope to host worship gatherings on the farm.
